The house passed all of the inspections.

The outside needs painting, some trees need trimming and an electrical box needs to be added for the hot water heater. Other than that everything is good. The only findings were just recommendations and didn't effect the functionality.

I have been busy packing around here. As I have said many times before. We have TOO MUCH STUFF!

And with that said here are my latest findings. :o)

Love this rug!

And these dishes are great. They are Tracy Porter also. Though much less expensive than that pitcher I already bought.

Matching casserole. Isn't it cute?

This is the same design as the other dishes.
Just a solid. Of course I would need these also.

Update

The house passed the termite inspection.

The other inspector hasn't given us the official report yet on the house, but he said that he didn't find anything major. Only a few minor things.

And we got our loan.

Yay!

Inspections

The inspector was out on Wednesday, but we haven't gotten the report back yet. He was confident he wasn't going to find anything major.

The termite guy is going out today. That should be good as well. The house was last sold in 2005 and passed the termite inspection then.

Hopefully we will get all of our reports back first of next week and find out about our loan. Then I will feel so much more relaxed.

The toile bathroom is screaming

for this stool!

I've been shopping again.

Shhhhh....don't tell Scott.

I found a beautiful quilt and shams for Riley's bed yesterday. I love it. I can't wait to get on her bed in her new room. So naturally I had to go today and buy sheets to coordinate with it. Notice I said coordinate and not match. I just still need to find a dust ruffle, but I don't want one that looks all ruffly. I will check at the outlet mall this weekend if we go.

I also found dishes that will go great with the pieces I have already purchased. I didn't buy the dishes though. I will buy them once I get to South Georgia.

And I got another piece of furniture for Riley's playroom. I just need a few more pieces and I should be done with it. I need a few more wooden crates for all of her shelves too, but I have seen them in every Lowe's I have been in, so I shouldn't have too much trouble getting them.

I can't find pics online of the quilt, but I will try to take one of it later. In the packaging, because I don't want it to get dirty while we are moving. Maybe I will take out one sham. If not you can wait three weeks to see it on the bed.

I bought my kitchen inspiration piece.

Sorry the picture is bad. I snagged it off line. It was very tiny and that was the smallest I could get it on blogger.

I love the colors and the pattern. I am going to design the kitchen around this pitcher.

You can't really tell in this picture, but there is yellow and pink in the pattern.

And a little corner cabinet.

Maybe we can do everything in white and put my china cabinet somewhere else. I have no idea where, but we can figure it out.

I think this is the table, chairs and buffet we need.

But now I can't decide between the white and the cherry. I love the white, but I will have my antique china cabinet in there that is cherry. The seat will be covered right away. So whatcha think?

More fun dishes!

Check these dishes!

So fun! I wanted a pink and green kitchen, but since Scott doesn't want to paint, I may have to rock some pink, yellow, green and turquoise. I just need to find that perfect piece to tie it all together.

I think I need to change the name of my blog...

Maybe now I should call it "Furninshing a dream home."

Check out this adorable table I found for the kitchen. I have been looking online for the perfect little white,
round dining table. How fun is this one?

The chairs come in white, black, turquoise or red. I am digging the turquoise.

Putting the cart before the horse.

It is nearly 2am, but I am too excited to sleep. So I am day dreaming.

The master bedroom is a canary yellow like the kitchen. Scott wants to just move in and not deal with painting. The paint is all in good shape and I think he is just too tired to make any changes. He said we would paint, but not for awhile. Once I move in I won't want to paint. So anyway, we are going to need new bedding to go with those yellow walls.

The search is over.

We definitely found the one. After I saw it I just sorted of drifted through the rest of the houses. I was in love and there was only one house for me.

We have a contract and hopefully we will be moving in in 37 days. I am sure they are going to fly by, but right now it seems like an eternity.

I wish I had taken pictures because there are so many cool things about the house. For now I will just show you the internet pics. It has plantation shutters on all of the windows. Gorgeous hardwood floors. The laundry room is right off the kitchen. The backyard is perfect. It is fenced in and landscaped beautifully. There is a man cave detached from the house for Scott. It is really a garage, but this gorgeous tree grew up in front of the garage door and I don't want to cut it down and apparently no one else has wanted to either. I can't wait for Riley to start climbing the tree. It is perfect.

I think this is it!

I am so relieved now that the other house didn't work out. Check out this house that just popped up today on the same street as the house that started this whole blog.

Check out the inside! Too cute!!!

I am trying to set up more houses.

But there are so many that I am just going to post the numbers here and if anyone is interested they can go look them up. After I see them I will come back with pictures and my thoughts.

Found the house with the pool

I am not sure that I love the inside of this one, but I totally love the outside. The inside won't matter except in the winter, because all summer I will be outside!

ETA: I looked over the pictures again after I submitted my blog. I changed my mind. I love the inside of this house. Some of the colors are a little blah, but paint can fix that. I hope I love it as much in person because right now I really want this house!

And I added this house since it is brand new.
