The #1 Contender

So here is the house that is the tops on our list right now. We haven't even seen the inside and the outside is mediocre at best. But Scott can take like 5 steps off the front porch and be at work. It is almost right across the street. This will mean less time in the car, more money saved on gas and more time spent together as a family.

When I look at the outside I see major potential. A new roof, paint job, the removal of those crazy tall hedges and a picket fence will make this a place worthy of calling home. I hear the inside has beautiful hardwood floors. I live for gorgeous hardwoods. I have always dreamed of living in an old home, but somewhere in between our current home projects and shopping for a new home I threw that dream away in favor of a house that was new and move in ready.

I am ready to embrace that dream again. I want to get dirty and make this house a home. I want to see what it feels like to live in a small town and only have a the mandatory Dollar General available to shop at. I want to go, where everybody knows my name.
